DO wax on easy to clean surfaces, eg. bathroom or kitchen floor.
DO always clean the skin before waxing with Wax-cellence Cleanser on a cotton pad.
DO always apply a light film of Wax-cellence Lotion by hand and massage well into the skin. Tissue excess oil off if necessary. Wax-cellence Lotion prevents the wax from sticking to the skin.
DO always test the wax on your inner wrist for a comfortable temperature before use. Wax is ready for use when it is a thick honey consistency.
DO always use Wax-cellence Cleanser on a cotton pad at the completion of any waxing treatment, to cleanse and soothe the skin.
DO apply a light film of Wax-cellence Lotion at the end of the waxing treatment, to nourish and soothe the skin.
DO as with any new beauty routine, it is important to practice new applications. Be sure to proctice applying wax on your legs before you use wax for facial, bikini or underarm waxing. This will help you to learn how to control the wax for more sensitive and delicate areas.
DO always remove the wax against the hair growth in a very fast motion. Slow wax removal produces discomfort.
DO NOT microwave
DO NOT wax in bed or on a carpeted floor.
DO NOT allow wax to come in contact with naked flames.
DO NOT use wax when it is too hot. If wax smarts or feels uncomfortable it is too hot. Let wax cool for a few extra minutes then test on your inner wrist again, to make sure the temperature is comfortable.
DO NOT apply too much Wax-cellence Lotion as wax will not be able to stick to the hair. If necessary tissue any excess off.
DO NOT allow water to come in contact with hot wax, as it can splutter, which may burn you.
DO NOT wax over hairy moles, simply cut the hair off or wax around it.
DO NOT wax over sunburnt skin, cuts, abrasions, varicose veins and new scars.
DO NOT use if you have, in the last six months, used any keratolytic drugs such as Accutane or Retin-A. Check with a doctor before waxing after any laser surgery or scar replacement surgery.
WARNING: HOT WAX IS EXTREMEMLY FLAMMABLE. WAX CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS IF APPLIED TO THE SKIN AT TOO HIGH A TEMPERATURE
